Mitsubishi Electric Once Again Among the Global Leaders in Climate and Water Conservation 2024
On February 7, 2025, Mitsubishi Electric was recognized for the seventh time with the highest “A List” distinction from the international nonprofit organization CDP – both for its actions in combating climate change and for its initiatives in water resource conservation.
The company has been part of the “A List” since 2016 and, for the second consecutive year, has received the highest score in both categories. The recognition highlights Mitsubishi Electric’s sustainable business approach, its ambitious environmental goals, and its transparency in disclosing results.
Mitsubishi Electric has already set clear deadlines:
2031 – aims to achieve net zero greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in its factories and offices
2051 – and also throughout its value chain by the fiscal year ending.
CDP’s “A List” is the global benchmark for corporate sustainability. For Mitsubishi Electric, this recognition is yet another confirmation that the company consistently turns its environmental vision into concrete actions.
