FAQ

How does an air conditioner work?

In heating mode the air conditioner transfers heat from the outside air to the air inside the room. Refrigerant in the system absorbs the heat from the air outside and pump it through a system of piping to the indoor unit. As a result of this heat transfer the indoor area is heated.

Can homeowners repair their own air conditioners?

Definitely not. Air conditioning systems today are rather complicated and usually require expert attention.

What is COP?

COP is the acronym for Coefficient Of Performance. This coefficient gives us an idea of how efficient the air conditioner is. In essence, COP is ratio between the heat output and the power input. The higher the COP is the better the air conditioner is.
